The Isle Royale National Park Artist Proof is a true limited edition, and only the first 25 prints pulled from this press run are available. I personally inspect these proofs on press and sign off on them before the balance of the posters are printed. The Artist Proofs feature the pressman’s “color bars”, which he uses to ensure that prints stay registered and colors stay consistent throughout the press run. Artist Proofs are numbered 1-25, dated and signed. My signature attests that I have personally inspected and approved each print — and further verified that no unsigned or unnumbered copies within the limited edition are known to exist.
The Isle Royale National Park Artist Proof is an original work by Robert Decker and measures 13″ x 20″. This Michigan travel poster is printed on “Conservation,” a 100% recycled, domestically produced paper stock with soy-based inks. They are printed by one of the greenest printers in America, right here in Colorado. From start to finish, each poster is 100% American Made.

Established in 1940, Isle Royale National Park is an isolated island - plus more than 400 small adjacent islands, as well as the surrounding waters of Lake Superior - far from our connected communities. The island features 160+ miles of wilderness trails, four lighthouses, sunken shipwrecks and no cars. Isle Royale is the fourth-largest lake island in the world and offers adventures for backpackers, hikers, boaters, paddlers, and divers. Isle Royale National Park is located in Michigan.

Meet the Artist, Rob Decker
Photographer and graphic artist Rob Decker studied photography with Ansel Adams in Yosemite National Park during the summer of 1979. The experience solidified his love of photography and our National Parks. Now he is on a journey to photograph and create iconic WPA-style posters of all our major national parks as we celebrate the next 100 years of the National Park Service.
"I feel that it’s important to protect America’s special places, and to connect people with nature. And it’s up to all of us to pitch in. Perhaps more importantly, we need to inspire the next generation of park stewards. I’m trying to make a difference by giving back to the amazing organizations that support our National Parks. 2-Day Shipping is FedEx 2Day, and posters are shipped flat in a 17" x 21", kraft mailer, with cardboard inserts for added protection.
USPS Shipping is First Class Mail, and can take up to 10 days for delivery. Please choose FedEx when possible
Postcards and Stickers are shipped in a protective bubble mailer.
Orders are typically shipped the same day, or within one business day of purchase.
Customers are provided with a USPS or FedEx Tracking Number to track their orders.
There are no in-store pick up options at this time.
Flat mailers are recyclable, and I encourage you to recycle these materials.
