Giving Back

Making Contributions Where they Count

I'm trying to make a difference by giving back to the amazing organizations, associations, trusts and conservancies that support the National Parks. I feel that it's important to protect America’s special places, and to connect people with nature. And it's up to all of us to pitch in. Perhaps more importantly, we need to inspire the next generation of park stewards.

The mission of the National Park Service is to preserve the natural and cultural resources and values of the national park system for the enjoyment, education, and inspiration of this and future generations. And my hope is that, in some small way, I can contribute to that mission.

My goal is that by creating these iconic images, I can help to generate awareness — not only of the grandeur of these amazing places — but also for the need of continued protection and operation of the parks. I think that everyone — now and in the future — should have a chance to enjoy the often-fascinating and always awe-inspiring majesty of our National Parks.

Carbon Neutral Shipping

For every order we receive, a formula is used to calculate the estimated shipping emissions. Based on those estimates, a portion of our revenue goes to carbon removal companies that have been vetted by scientists from Carbon Direct. Those companies use that money to remove however much carbon our shipments created. Any extra funds go toward the further development of carbon removal technologies.

Giving Back to the Organizations I Support

When you purchase one of my creations, you also help the organizations, trusts, conservancies and associations that support our National Parks. I donate 10% of annual profits as well as posters, postcards and canvas prints to these organizations who use them to raise funds for their ongoing work.

In 2024, I made financial contributions to each of these organizations, guided by input from hundreds of National Park Posters customers who completed our donation survey. The selected parks were prioritized based on those impacted by natural and other disasters, as well as thoughtful suggestions from our community.
